PTI Chairman Imran Khan once again drew severe criticism from the military leadership and politicians alike for his derogatory remarks towards the Pakistan Army made during a public rally in Faisalabad on Monday.
While the PTI defended its leader’s statement, President Arif Alvi, who is also a party member, distanced himself from the statement and said Imran Khan himself should explain exactly what he meant by the army.
In a casual conversation with reporters, Alvi said the military is patriotic and ready to sacrifice his life.
