ISLAMABAD: PTI chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan on Monday announced a peaceful protest outside the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja.
Addressing members at a meeting of the PTI National Committee in the federal capital, the former prime minister asked the Electoral Commission not to hold the next general election under any circumstances.
The party chairman said he would hold elections within the party after the general election to ensure meritocracy.
