IHC rejects protective bail plea of Haleem Adil Sheikh

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected the bail plea of Sindh Parliament opposition leader Halim Adil Sheikh.

The case was heard by Chief Justice (CJ) Athar Minallah, who rejected Haleem Adil Sheikh’s petition seeking protective bail to appear in the Sindh Provincial Assembly.

During the trial, CJ IHC said the court had granted protective bail for three weeks in another case, during which time he would appear in court.

In rejecting Haleem Adil Sheikh’s bail request, the court directed him to appeal to the Sindh High Court.
