IHC disposes of petition seeking disqualification of PM Imran

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has processed a petition calling for the disqualification of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to detailed information, after the petitioner withdrew his petition to the Prime Minister, two judges of the High Court composed of Chief Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir pronounced the verdict.

It is worth mentioning that in 2018, Prime Minister Imran Khan filed a lawsuit for failing to declare Tyrian White as his daughter in the nomination document.

The petitioner argued that under Article 62(i)(f) of the Constitution, the Prime Minister should be disqualified for providing incorrect information in the nomination document, adding that he was no longer Sadik and Amin.
