Hamza files acquittal plea in Ramzan Sugar Mills case

Hamza Shahbaz appears before NAB court in Ramzan Sugar Mills case


Lahore: Hamza Sharif, a member of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and opposition leader of the Punjab parliament, appeared in court in Lahore’s Ramzan Sugar Factory case on Tuesday.

During the proceedings, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court has approved exemption from hearing plea of PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif.

The court has summoned all the witnesses and adjourned the proceedings till November 26. 

At the previous hearing, Shebaz Sharif’s lawyer stated that according to the new National Banking Regulations, a video of the witness’s testimony will be recorded.
