Karachi: At least one Rangers personnel sustained injuries after miscreants hurled a grenade at the law enforcing authority’s vehicle in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of the city.

According to police, the incident occurred in the 5th block of Gulistan-e-Jauhar, when armed motorcycle riders threw grenades at the grenade of a ranger truck, the latter on a tire The repair shop stopped.

A member of the law enforcement department was injured after puncturing the glass on him. When the police and other security personnel blocked the area, he was transferred to a hospital for treatment.

SSP West said that four used 9mm pistol shells were recovered from the scene. He quoted the preliminary investigation as saying that the attack appeared to be targeted.

The killed police stationed in Mominabad were identified as Sepoy Allahdita and Sepoy Ahmed Ali.
