ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry on Sunday said that incumbent government is using Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) among other tactics to run away from early elections.
In a tweet, Fawad Chaudhry said the government was trying different tactics, including using the NA Speaker’s office to hold elections in their chosen constituencies, and pulling martyrs into politics just to delay the polls.
The former information minister claimed the ruling coalition opposed the election because they knew that if the polls were held, Imran Khan would get a two-thirds majority.
