ISLAMABAD: The government has approved a “strategic trade policy framework” to diversify the country’s products and markets, said Abdul Razak Dawood, the Prime Minister’s business and investment adviser.
He is talking to journalists after the opening of the first Healthcare and Engineering Expo 2022 in Lahore.
The consultant said that the Pakistan Trade Development Authority has formulated a policy to explore the African and Central Asian markets.
In response to questions, he said that by the end of June, the country will achieve the target of 31 billion rupees in merchandise exports and 7 billion rupees in services exports.
