The price of gold in Pakistan rose by 200 rupees per tola on Wednesday, pushing precious commodities to 122,800 rupees.
However, in the international market, 24k gold fell by $8 per ounce. It is now priced at $1,786. Last week, it recorded a sharp drop of $58.
Gold hit a five-month high of US$1,874 per ounce on November 16 and a record high of 132,000 rupees per Torah on October 26 in Pakistan.
In the domestic market, the price of every 10 grams of gold rose by 178 rupees to 105,281 rupees.
