ISLAMABAD: The price of 24 carats of gold per tola rose by 50 rupees and was sold at 125,750 rupees on Wednesday, compared with 125,700 rupees in the local market the previous day.
The price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold also rose by Rs 43 to Rs 107,810 from Rs 107,767, while the price of 10 grams of 22 carats rose from Rs 98,787 to Rs 98,826, according to the All-Sin De Salafa Jewellers Association.
The price per tola and ten grams of silver remained unchanged at Rs 1,460 and Rs 1,251.71 respectively.
Gold rose $5 on the international market, trading at $1,856, compared with its selling price of $1,851, the association reported.
