Gold price rises in Pakistan but local demand remains flat

Gold prices rise Rs100 to Rs126,100 per tola


Islamabad: The price of 24 carats of gold per Torah has risen by 100 rupees. It was sold for 126,100 rupees in the local market on Thursday, compared with 126,000 rupees the previous day.

The price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold rose from 108,025 rupees by 85 rupees to 108,110 rupees, while the price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold rose from 99,023 rupees to 99,101 rupees.

The price of silver per Torah and ten grams of silver remained unchanged at 1460 rupees and 1251.71 rupees, respectively.

According to a report by the Jeweler Group, the price of gold in the international market rose by US$07, and the transaction price was US$1,803, while its selling price was US$1,796.
