Gold extends losses as rupee rebounds

Gold prices decline Rs200 per tola


Islamabad: The price of 24 carats of gold per Torah dropped by 200 rupees. It was sold at 126,000 rupees in the local market on Wednesday, compared with 126,200 rupees the previous day.

The price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold also depreciated from 108,196 rupees by 171 rupees to 108,025 rupees, while the price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold fell from 99,180 rupees to 99,023 rupees.

The price of silver per Torah and ten grams of silver remained unchanged at 1460 rupees and 1251.71 rupees, respectively.

According to a report by the Jeweler Group, the price of gold in the international market fell by US$21, and the transaction price was US$1,796, while its selling price was US$1,817.
