ISLAMABAD: A 24-carat tola gold fell by Rs 850 and was sold at Rs 125,250 on Monday, compared with Rs 126,100 in the local market the previous day.
The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also fell by Rs 728 to Rs 107,382 from Rs 108,110, while the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold fell from Rs 99,101 to Rs 98,433, according to the All-Sin De Salafa Jewellers Association.
The price of silver per tola dropped by Rs 20 to Rs 1,450 from Rs 1,470, while the price of 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs 17.14 to Rs 1,243.14 from Rs 1,260.28.
The association reported that gold prices in international markets fell by $1 to $1,791 from $1,792.
