ISLAMABAD: The price of 24 carats of gold per tola fell by Rs 200 and was sold at Rs 126,800 on Tuesday, compared with Rs 127,000 in the local market the previous day.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also fell by Rs 172 to Rs 108,710 from Rs 108,882, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell from Rs 99,808 to Rs 99,651, according to the All-Sin De Salafa Jewellers Association.
The price per tola and ten grams of silver remained unchanged at Rs 1,460 and Rs 1,251.71 respectively.
Gold prices on the international market fell $2 to trade at $1,894, the association reported, while it sold for $1,896.
