ISLAMABAD: The price of 24 carats of gold per tola rose by 700 rupees and was sold at 131,400 rupees on Wednesday, compared with 130,700 rupees in the local market the previous day.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also rose by Rs 600 to Rs 112,654 from Rs 112,054, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose from Rs 102,716 to Rs 103,266, according to the All-Sin De Salafa Jewellers Association.
The price per tola and ten grams of silver remained unchanged at Rs 1,480 and Rs 1,268.86 respectively.
Gold prices on the international market rose by $6 to trade at $2015, the association reported, compared with its selling price of $2009.
