Islamabad: The price of 24 karat gold surged by Rs500 on Tuesday and was trade at Rs113,200 against its sale at Rs112,700 the previous day.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams gold also increased by Rs428 and was trade at Rs97,050 against Rs96,622 while gram 22 karat gold was sold at Rs88,963, Karachi Sarafa Association reported.
The price of per tola silver increased by Rs30 and was trade at Rs1230 against its sale at Rs1200. The prices ten gram silver also increased by Rs25.72 and was traded at Rs1054.52 against its sale at 1028.80.
The association reported that the price of gold on the international market has risen by $7, and the transaction price is $1,866, compared to $1,859 in the same period.
