ISLAMABAD: Gold 24-carat per tola fell by Rs 2,800 on Thursday and was sold at Rs 142,600 in the local market, compared with Rs 145,400 the previous day.
The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also fell by Rs 2,397, which was sold at Rs 122,257 compared to its price of Rs 124,657, while the price of 10 grams of 22 karat rose to Rs 112,068 and was sold at Rs 114,270.
Prices per tola and 10 grams of silver remained unchanged at Rs 1,540 and Rs 1,320.30, respectively, according to the Sindh Jewellery Association.
The association reported that gold prices on the international market rose by $2, selling at $1,771, compared with its selling price of $1,769.
