Gold prices decline Rs200 to Rs 125,000 per tola

Gold loses shine as rupee strengthens


Karachi: Due to the support of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) program, the rupee exchange rate against the US dollar strengthened, and the price of gold in Pakistan extended its decline on Monday.

The price of gold in the local bullion market fell by 400 rupees per torah and 342 rupees per 10 grams to close at 123,400 rupees per torah and 105,796 rupees per 10 grams.

On Saturday, gold closed at 123,800 rupees per Torah and 106,138 rupees per 10 grams.

Last week, the loss of precious commodities was about 4,300 rupees or 3.35% per tola.
