German officials prepare proposal to end lockdown after April 19

By

Berlin: German officials have listed a series of measures to prevent the country from lifting the blockade on April 19 and bringing life back to normal.

These include the obligation to wear masks in public places, to limit gatherings in public and to quickly identify the chain of contamination. Officials believe that life should return to normal after the incarceration period.

This proposal was included in the draft action plan prepared by the Ministry of the Interior and was shown on Reuters on Monday. These proposals state that even if the gradual restoration of public life is allowed, these measures should be sufficient to keep the number of infected below one.

To do this, an appropriate mechanism should be put in place to detect more than 80% of people contacted by the infected person within 24 hours of diagnosis. In return, the school will be able to reopen within the region and facilitate strict border controls.
