ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has issued a major order on the health sector whereby medicines will be provided free of charge in all government hospitals in Punjab.
According to the details, Sheikh Baz Sharif also announced that there should be no charges for any treatment received by patients in government hospitals.
The Prime Minister further ordered that all government hospitals across the province should also provide free medicines for cancer patients.
It is worth mentioning that Chief Minister (CM) Hamza Shahbaz chaired an important meeting with the health department, where he instructed hospitals to take necessary measures to provide various facilities for ordinary people.
According to the details, the Punjab chief minister also instructed the health department that ordinary people should be treated with full respect in government hospitals.
Hamza Shahbaz further ordered a comprehensive plan to provide free medicines to the people.
The Chief Minister also said that anti-dengue teams should also be mobilized.
