Karachi: At least four people were injured when a bomb exploded in a passenger car in the Metropolitan Sheerin Jinnah Colony on Tuesday.
According to initial reports, the bomb exploded in a passenger car near Sheerin Jinnah Colony, wounding at least four people.
Soon after the explosion, residents of the area transferred the injured to the local hospital for medical assistance.
Police officers from the Southern District confirmed that the explosion was caused by explosive materials because no gas cylinders were recovered from the explosion site.
Police officials said the explosives were likely to be planted at the entrance of the bus terminal.
A bomb disposal team (BDS) has also been called to determine the nature of the explosion.
