Islamabad: On Tuesday, security personnel confiscated fake Pakistani currency from the Office of the High Commissioner of India when investigating an escape incident in Islamabad.

According to the details, the police seized 10,000 Pakistani rupee counterfeit money from the Indian official Silvades Paul.

Earlier, Islamabad police briefly arrested two officials of the Indian High Commissioner Silvad Paul and Dawamu Braham in a crash, but they were released due to their diplomatic immunity.

Security officials said that the official tried to escape from the scene after hitting a man, but was detained.

The police booked them for negligence, Lure driving and speeding in the Secretariat police station.
