Former National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman Javed Iqbal on Monday moved the Islamabad High Court (IHC) against the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) order to appear in court.
The former NAB chief filed a petition with the court through High Court President Shoaib Shaheen.
On July 7, the PAC subpoenaed Justice (retd) Iqbal on harassment charges. According to The News, a woman, Tayyaba Gul, who had written a letter to the PAC chairman filing allegations of harassment against him, received a complaint from him.
The PAC meeting also discussed Ms Amna Masood Janjua’s allegations against the former NAB chairperson for harassment of women who visited the Missing Persons Committee headed by Iqbal.
