ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) said on Monday that the foreign funding case verdict reserved by the PTI on June 21 will be announced tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10am.
The Electoral Commission today released a list of reasons for banning the funding case. According to the list of reasons, the ruling will be announced by the three-member seat headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja.
The decision to announce the verdict comes after the Financial Times revealed that PTI received funding from the Wootton Cricket Club, which is owned by Abraaj founder Arif Naqvi. The funds were generated through a charity match, and an Arab celebrity also invested heavily.
