Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday lifted the fines imposed on Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Birawar Bhutto and other politicians.
Earlier, the ECP accused Said Gani, Vilavar Bhutto, Kurshid Shah, Murad Ali Shah and Said Gah for violating its moral code. Politicians including Nepal were fined 50,000 rupees.
ECP announced the cancellation of fines for all politicians convicted of violations and shared a written decision. In addition, the District Ombudsman neither made any decisions nor raised any questions to the Election Committee.
