PESHAWAR: Earthquake shaking was felt in various districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Wednesday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported.
The quake was felt in Peshawar, Bajaur, Swat and other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The magnitude 5 earthquake was centered in the Hindu Kush mountains and reportedly had a depth of 175 kilometers.
People in the affected areas left their homes in fear and gathered in open spaces.
