The Pakistani Rupee continued to fluctuate against the U.S. dollar in the inter-bank market, rising slightly a day after falling by 24 paisa.
According to data shared by the National Bank of Pakistan, the local currency appreciated 0.01% in the interbank market on Wednesday. It added a paisa and the transaction price was 176.75 rupees.
On December 29, 2021, the U.S. dollar jumped to a record high of 178.24 rupees in the interbank market and to a peak of 180.30 rupees in the open market.
At the same time, in the open market, the U.S. dollar fell by 20 paisa on Wednesday, at a price of 178.80 rupees.
