Islamabad: A source from the Ministry of Health said that three other COVID-19 cases of Omicron variants were reported from Islamabad on Wednesday.
With the recent cases, the total number of Omicron infections in the federal capital rose to 20.
People familiar with the matter said they are tracking people who live with new Omicron patients and those who have had contact with them.
The first case of Omicron variant was reported in Islamabad on December 25.
The National Institutes of Health in Islamabad (NIH) confirmed that Pakistan has so far confirmed 75 cases of Omicron variants, including 33 cases in Karachi, the first of which was reported on December 13, 2021, and Lahore reported 13 cases .
In addition to the new cases, Islamabad has so far reported 17 cases of Omicron variants.
