Karachi: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah reported that 8 people died in the province from the coronavirus, causing 100 deaths across the province.
Murad Ali Shah confirmed that of the 3729 coronavirus tests in the province, 404 were positive within 24 hours.
He further informed that of the 3,187 families, 4,426 cases of active coronavirus in the province were self-isolated. He added that two international flights have arrived in Karachi and 505 passengers have been transported, 69 of which were tested positive and 39 test results are still awaiting.
CM Sindh also announced that the government will establish two new laboratories and strive to improve the testing capabilities of Larkana and Karachi universities.
