Coronavirus cases soar to 4,232 in Sindh, 78 dead


Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah (Syed Murad Ali Shah) confirmed on Saturday that 287 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in the province within the past 24 hours.

The Chief Minister of Sindh provided detailed information about the new infection in the video, and said that of the 287 cases, Karachi reported 199 cases, while 96 other cases occurred in other areas of Sindh.

He said that the current number of rehabilitation patients in Sindh province is 802. So far, 78 people in the province have been declared dead.

He said: “In the past 24 hours, three more people in the province have died of the new coronavirus.” He added that Karachi has 2,891 coronavirus cases, while the total number of positive cases in the province is 4,232.

Shah added: “Currently, 3,352 patients in Sindh are receiving treatment.”

Murad Ali Shah said that 2599 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours, and 38188 tests have been conducted so far.

According to the classification of positive cases in Karachi today, eight people were found to be infected in the Maril district, 79 new infections were found in the southern district, 57 cases were found in the eastern district, and 32 positive cases were reported from the central district.

He added that Larkana reported 17 new positive cases, 13 Covid-19 cases in Hyderabad, 7 cases in Sukkur, and 11 cases in Chikarpur.
