Lahore: Coronavirus cases in Pakistan have risen to 497, as 266 patients have tested positive in Sindh, 96 in Punjab, 92 in Balochistan and 23 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Affairs, 12 cases in Gilgit-Balstan, 7 cases in Islamabad and Azad Kashmir.
Pakistan has confirmed that the pandemic has killed three people so far, with the last victim being a 77-year-old man in Karachi on Friday (yesterday). The first two deaths were reported in Mardan and Hanku in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Sindh Minister of Health, Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, confirmed death in Karachi. The victim had no travel history and was seriously ill on Thursday and was taken to a private hospital.
