KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday expressed his satisfaction with the unity of all opposition parties on a no-confidence motion.
A meeting was held at Bilawal House under the chairmanship of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. National and provincial council members from Sindh attended the meeting.
Faryal Talpur and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah were also present, as were former Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Aftab Shaban Mirani, Nawab Yousuf Talpur, Manzoor Wasan and others.
Bilawal was briefed on the preparations for the Long March. The PPP chairman has assigned separate important tasks to Sindh parliament members. The PPP CEC meeting decided to hold the Long March based on democratic principles.
Speaking to the public, PPP leaders said we believe in the democratic, constitutional and peaceful aspects of the no-confidence motion and look forward to a change of government.
He went on to add that other opposition parties support our position on the no-confidence motion. The PPP has been the most effective opposition since day one.
