Lahore: Former Judge Arshad Malik, who convicted former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, has challenged his termination.
According to the details, Arshad Malik argued in his defense that he did not follow the rules and regulations when he was fired. It formed a three-person court chaired by Justice Mohamed Tariq Ababas.
Earlier, The Lahore High Court (LHC) sacked Judge Arshad Malik after an inquiry into his leaked video concluded. The Chief Justice of Lahore High Court, while issuing the notification of his dismissal, said that Arshad Malik was found guilty in the video scandal inquiry.
The notice clarified that Arshad Malik had ample opportunity to clear his name and heard his position during the questioning. However, improper actions have been taken against the deposed judge and legal actions have been taken.
