After data revisions, China’s coronavirus death toll at 4,632 with 27 new cases

Shanghai: According to data released on Saturday, the Chinese National Health Commission reported 27 newly diagnosed coronavirus cases on April 17, compared with 26 cases the day before.

Of this number, 17 cases were imported abroad by individuals, compared with 15 cases the day before.

The newly found asymptomatic cases were 54 cases, lower than 66 cases a day ago. According to the Ministry of Health, three of these cases are new cases.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country reached 82,719, an increase of 300 cases from the number reported the previous day. After the NHC announced the revision of the case report on Friday, the absorption rate rose sharply.

According to the Ministry of Health, as of April 17, the total number of deaths from the virus was 4632. The new death toll has increased by more than 1,000.
