Lahore: After the launch of the Naya Pakistan National Health Card scheme in Faisalabad, 73% of the total population of Punjab will be able to benefit from the scheme, Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar said on Wednesday.
Speaking at the launch of the Faisalabad Health Card scheme, the CM said about 1.5 million people in Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh and Chiinot will receive free medical facilities from the scheme.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Farouk Habib, said that under the scheme, 3.2 million households in Faisalabad province will receive free medical care.
