Islamabad: Today (Friday), the US dollar exchange rate for interbank lending rose by 48 paisa to close at 175.46 rupees.
Sources said that after the rise of Re1, the dollar on the open market has exceeded the level of 176 rupees.
What I want to mention here is that the U.S. dollar closed at an all-time high of 175.73 on November 12 in the interbank industry.
Earlier, the U.S. dollar (USD) closed at 174.98 rupees against the Pakistani rupee (PKR) in interbank transactions. The US dollar depreciated by 6 paisa.
