1247 new coronavirus cases detected in 24 hours: CM Sindh


Karachi: Chief Minister of Syed Murad Ali Shah in Sindh Province has confirmed 1247 new cases of coronavirus in the province within 24 hours. Today, more than 38 people died while fighting the new coronavirus.

Murad Ali Shah said in a statement on the situation of coronavirus in Sindh Province that 5481 fatal coronavirus tests were conducted, of which 1247 tests were positive and the total number of the province reached 26,000.

He further informed that the number of coronavirus deaths in Sindh increased by 38. On the other hand, in the past 24 hours, 522 patients have fully recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of patients recovering in the province to 13,272.

Murad Ali Shah said that 310 patients were in critical condition, while 68 patients were on ventilators. He also called on people to take preventive measures to stop the spread of the new coronavirus.
